DO's Before Your Botox or Filler Appointment

  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours to reduce risk of bruising

  • Stop blood thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E) 3–5 days before — only if approved by your doctor

  • Hydrate well — healthy skin responds better

  • Eat a light meal to prevent feeling lightheaded

  • Arrive with a clean face — no makeup, lotion, or skincare products

  • Let your injector know if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, or on antibiotics
